The library acts as a key resource and learning center of the college to meet the information needs of users.

Central library has good collection of books (26,993) which includes subject, technical, life skills, general knowledge, competitive, aptitude and English communication skills and literature. We have SC books 4,423 for sc students.

Our reference section includes an excellent collection of language dictionaries, subject dictionaries, subject and technical encyclopedias, hand books, government publications, old question papers, CDs of books and project records.

In periodical section, we have subscribed nearly 75 printed journals and 5 news papers.

Our Library is fully automated and open access library. Newgenlib integrated library management software is used for library operations.

Our Library strengthens and enhances the teaching, research and service of the Institution. We promote intellectual growth and creativity by developing collections, facilitating access to information resources, teaching the effective use of information resources and critical evaluation skills and offering research assistance.

The vision for our Library is engaged in learning and discovery as essential participants in the educational community. We develop, organize, provide access to and preserve materials to meet the needs of present and future generations of students and scholars. We explore and implement innovative technologies and services to deliver information and scholarly resources conveniently to users.

Objectives:

• To facilitate access to right information at the right time in the right manner to the patron.

• Supports the Institution’s curricular needs.

• Provides a balanced collection with diverse and differing points of view or intellectual thought.

• To educate, train and help users to access information resources available in different formats and prepare them for life-long independent learning.

Library Rules & Regulations:

• Identity Card is compulsory for getting access to the library

• Enter your name and Sign in the register kept at the entrance counter before entering library

• Silence to be maintained.  No discussion permitted inside the library .

• No personal belongings allowed inside the library

• Using Mobile phones and audio instruments with or without speaker or headphone is strictly prohibited in the library premises.

• Show the books and other materials which are being taken out of the library to the staff at the entrance counter.

• The librarian may recall any book from any member at any time and the member shall return the same immediately.

• Newspapers, magazines and journals must be read only in the library on specific tables and should not be taken to any other reading areas.

• No library material can be taken out of the library without permission. Unauthorized removal of anything belonging to the library will be treated as theft and dealt accordingly.

• Refreshment of any kind shall not be taken anywhere in the library premises.

• Suggestions on all aspects of library services are welcome.
