About Computer Science & Engineering

About the Department

The Department of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) is established in the year 2008 with a view to develop quality engineers to meet the current trends. The Department provides undergraduate program in B.Tech (CSE). The department has a pool of well qualified, highly experienced and research oriented faculty members covering all the major areas.

Department Vision

To equip the students with adequate technical knowledge that promotes them to contribute their expertise in the arena of academics, industry and society. in the arena of academics, industries and society.

Department Mission

M1: To produce the best quality computer science professionals through intellectual inputs.

The Computer Science and Engineering Department houses well-equipped laboratories that foster practical learning and innovation. The Full Stack Development Lab enables students to design and develop complete web applications using modern technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Node.js, and MongoDB. The Advanced Data Structures and Algorithm Analysis Lab enhances students’ problem-solving and analytical skills through hands-on implementation of complex data structures and algorithms in C/C++/Java. Together, these labs strengthen the core technical competencies essential for software development and industry readiness.

The Computer Science and Engineering Department features advanced laboratories that support experiential learning and research in core computing domains. The Computer Networks Lab and Computer Networks & Security Lab provide students with practical exposure to network design, configuration, and security concepts. The Operating Systems Lab focuses on process management, memory allocation, file systems, and system-level programming.

The Computer Science and Engineering Department hosts state-of-the-art laboratories that enhance students’ practical understanding of data management, programming, and artificial intelligence. The Database Management Systems Lab and Data Mining Lab provide hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and analyzing databases, as well as discovering meaningful patterns from large datasets using SQL,and data mining tools. The Python Programming Lab develops students’ logical thinking and coding while the Deep Learning Lab focuses on advanced AI concepts. Collectively, these labs strengthen students’ competencies in data handling, programming, and intelligent system development.
