About Department

The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) is established in the year 2008 with a view to develop quality engineers to meet the current trends. The Department provides undergraduate program in B.Tech (ECE). The department has a pool of well qualified, highly experienced and research oriented faculty members covering all the major areas.

A Three day faculty development programme on “DESIGN OF VLSI CIRCUITS USING MENTOR GRAPHICS” in Vijayawada on 23rd June 2016 to 25th June 2016. In this FDP, faculty from various colleges learned the design, layout and synthesis of VLSI Circuits in front end and backend using XILINX 14.6 and MENTOR GRAPHICS.

A Three days BSNL workshop, in Vijayawada on 16th December 2015-18th December 2015. Third day on 18th the all students visited the BSNL office at M.G.road in morning and Auto nagar in afternoon. They learned various modules, functions, base station and mobile switching office how the communication is done in real time applications

The Resource Person Pavan Kumar Polineni garu discussed about the overview of Hadoop its architecture and Industrial Usecases. He clearly explained the topic and with his interaction to the students it was more fun filled. The session is very much interactive and students got benifited with the new technology.
